Ultra fresh, vivacious rose with ripe strawberries, elegant fruit on the palate leading to a lovely dry finish and citrus sensations
History
Winemaker Mihai Banita use a combination of old world winemaking techniques and modern tehnology to make wines that reflect the unique characteristics of individual vineyards or ”terroir” where specific varietals grow best. The fusion of superb vineyard sites and thoughtful winemaking allows LacertA to deliver elegant, expressive wines.
Vinification
Grapes are picked only by hand, after manual
sorting on the table. They are then de-stemmed
and crushed after is a brief maceration, which
consists of maintaining contact with the must of
grapes strong parts for 2-5 hours. After the must
is separated of solid, starts alcoholic fermentation
controlled at a temperature at 16-18℃ of between 14-20 days. Compared to white wines, rose wines are slightly elevated to extract, ash and tannin.
As the grape extracts its aroma from the territory
where it is grown and can taste significantly diverse,
ranging from clean and zesty to buttery, rich wines.
