History

Winemaker Mihai Banita use a combination of old world winemaking techniques and modern technology to make wines that reflect the unique characteristics of individual vineyards or ”terroir” where specific varietals grow best. The fusion of superb vineyard sites and thoughtful winemaking allows LacertA to deliver elegant, expressive wines.

Vinification

Each variety is picked individually by hand, in boxes, and then carefully selected. selected. It takes place a pre-fermentation maceration at a temperature of 8-10℃ for 2-3 days. After completing alcoholic fermentation is a malolactic fermentation inoculated. The wine was aging 50 % in barrique and 50%m stayed in steel tanks. The varieties are blended after the wine is matured.
