A lovely wine with an intense yellow color. Alma of herbacaeus notes, apricot and pineapple aromas. The aging in oak barrels perfectly balances the acidity and alcohol level and makes the wine soft, with vanilla hay and honey aroma tones.

History

Winemaker Mihai Banita use a combination of old world winemaking techniques and modern tehnology to make wines that reflect the unique characteristics of individual vineyards or ”terroir” where specific varietals grow best. The fusion of superb vineyard sites and Serving thoughtful winemaking allows LacertA to deliver elegant, expressive wines.

Vinification

Grapes are picked only by hand, after manual sorting. They are then de-stemmed and crashed going direct in the press to separated the juice from the skins. In stainless-steel we controlled the temperature, set-up 16-18℃ after starting the alcoholic fermentation between 14-20 days. This wine was aging 10 months in barrique, French and American oak. As the grape extracts its aroma from the territory where it is grown and can taste significantly diverse, ranging from calcareous clean and zesty to buttery, rich wines.
